PE will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays in Year 2 this half term. Please make sure that your child comes to school in P.E. clothes on this day that are to be worn all day.
Forest School will be on Wednesdays in Mrs Mitchell's class and Thursdays in Miss Poole's class
Reading books All children will be issued with a new reading diary. Children are given the opportunity to change their reading books any day in the week, and are then able to select a book of their own choice from within their reading band with adult support. It is important that they read at least 3 times a week at home and this is recorded in their reading diaries by yourselves by dating and signing the relevant box. Comments can be added if you wish and children should ensure that reading books and diaries are in school every day. The diaries will be checked once a week when your child has a guided reading session with an adult.
Children in Key Stage 1 do not need snack money as they have free fruit at break time. Children can bring in their own healthy snack if they prefer.
Thank you for all of your home support. If you have any worries, please do not hesitate to ask.
