At Winnington Park Primary and Nursery School, the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mr Rob Cole and the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) is Mrs Allen.

Winnington Park Primary & Nursery School is part of the Operation Encompass initiative. 

Operation Encompass provides schools with critical information, through a notification for a child/young person in their school who has witnessed/experienced a domestic abuse incident in their family. For many children school provides a safe base and we are working to support children and their families at a critical time, immediately after a domestic abuse episode.
