Starting School in September 2026

Welcome to Winnington Park Primary School and Nursery

Are you thinking about school places for September 2026 or a place in our Nursery?

Choosing your child’s school is an important decision that can often feel quite daunting. We want to give you every opportunity to learn about our school, to meet our friendly and professional staff and to see our caring, welcoming and purposeful school in action. 

We are holding two Reception and Nursery Open Mornings on:

Saturday 27th September 9.30am-11.00am and Saturday 4th October 9.30am-11.00am

These are a chance to meet our Early Years staff and to bring your child for a play in our Nursery and Reception classrooms. 

Please park in the staff car park at the front of school, not at Moss Farm or on Firdale Road.

You can also book yourself onto a tour around school with the Headteacher, to see what school is like during a normal day.

Tuesday 23rd September at 10am

Thursday 23rd October at 10am

Friday 21st November at 11am

Friday 5th December at 10am

Friday 9th January at 10am

You are welcome to attend an Open Morning and to book yourself into a tour around school.

If your child will be starting primary school in September 2026 (born between September 1, 2021 and August 31, 2022), you'll need to apply between September 1, 2025 and January 15, 2026.

All applications should be made through Cheshire West and Chester School Admissions.
